The part that pays for it
Fifteen years old, subscription-based, and deliberately built to need very little of your day.
What it is
An IT and B2B service business, registered and operating from the Isle of Man, trading for more than fifteen years. Clients pay by subscription. Many of them have been with us for over a decade.
It is not a startup, not a side project, and not something that depends on one big customer. It is a slow, boring, dependable thing — which is exactly what you want when it is the thing paying your bills.
How the money works
Income is recurring and monthly, from client subscriptions rather than one-off jobs. That is the whole reason this sale makes sense: a lump sum buys you a house, but recurring revenue buys you the life in it.
We are not publishing figures here. They go to serious enquirers under a non-disclosure agreement, along with the accounts. What we will say publicly is what the listing says — it is sufficient for a comfortable life in Portugal, and it has been for years.
The growth has been organic throughout: word of mouth and search, no advertising spend, no sales team. It held steady through the pandemic without drama.
What it asks of you
Less than you would think, and that is by design.
- No technical expertise required. The systems are built to be operated, not programmed. If you can use a computer for ordinary tasks, you can run this.
- It was recently rebuilt around a custom AI framework with large language model integration, which now automates most of the repetitive work. This was not a gimmick — it is why the daily time commitment is what it is.
- There is scope to grow it if you want to. It is currently tuned for minimal input instead, which was our choice, not a limitation.
What comes with it
- Considerable goodwill — the client relationships, and the trust behind them
- Comprehensive training, at whatever pace you need it
- A 24-month support period. Not a phone number that stops answering after a month. Two years of us being available to you and, where it matters, to the clients.
Why we will ask for an NDA first
The detail of this business — who the clients are, what they pay, how the systems work — is the asset. We will share all of it with someone serious, and none of it on a public web page.
That is not evasiveness. Those clients have trusted us for over a decade, and protecting them is part of what you would be buying. You would want the same protection in our position.
